I started sailing at the age of 10. My first boat was a 12-foot cat that I built with my father. She was no America’s Cup contender but was meticulously constructed and a solid foundation on which to build skills and knowledge. As the years rushed by the boats became larger and the races longer. Now it’s all about cruising, enjoying the company of friends, both old and new and making every day count.
Jen M.
February 2022 – After joining me on loads of boat inspections which I’m sure was much more fun for me than her, it was great that Jen could meet me in Cannes and be Lexocet’s first crew member. She helped me keep the dream alive and being an awesome photographer helped document all the boats that we inspected. It was a laborious process but a great result. Thanks Jen, hurry back!
Mal S.
February 2022 – From our early 20’s Mal and I have travelled the world together and shared some incredible adventures. Having him aboard on the journey from Cannes to Portugal was like a step back in time only with a lot less hair! I couldn’t and wouldn’t have done it without you Mal. Lets do summer next time though.
Graeme M.
February 2022 – You typically won’t find Graeme on big blue water boats, he’s an adrenalin junky, addicted to the pace and exhilaration of racing Etchells. Having said that, during the voyage from Cannes to Portugal he developed a weakness for Paella and relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, so maybe it’s time for a change mate.
